This was originally a control work channel which was in serious disrepair, collapsed and had no safety guardrails. However, it is adjacent to the North and South Canals in Wandan Township and has frequent traffic. As a result, a concrete rectangular ditch was dug to improve the Canal, and block guardrails installed on both sides, to improve water delivery and maintain traffic safety
